Live: Trump Cancels Top Officials' Pakistan Trip For Iran Talks

US-Iran War News Live Update: Hours after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi departed Islamabad, US President Donald Trump said that US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will no longer be heading to Pakistan for a second round, as a delicate ceasefire remains in place in the Middle East.

The US president said it's not worth the US delegation making the 18-hour flight to Pakistan when the US holds all the cards in the conflict with Iran.

"I've told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, 'Nope, you're not making an 18-hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you're not going to be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around talking about nothing'," Trump told Fox News.

PM Modi, who is closely-monitoring the situation, has reportedly asked for his visit to Croatia, Norway, and the Netherlands, which was due next week, to be rescheduled. As per his original schedule Prime Minister Modi was to commence his official visit to the three nations on May 13. He was also going to participate in the India-Nordic Summit in Oslo on May 15 and 16. All three countries have been informed about the change in PM Modi's schedule. They have also been appraised about the current situation between India and Pakistan. Last month too, on the day of the Pahalga...
